Sarah Ryan

Choosing a therapist to work with is a personal decision and it's an important one - as it is often through this relationship that clients find the safe space and conditions necessary to explore meaningful work.

It’s important to find someone who is a good fit for you and for this reason I offer short, no-obligation, introductory sessions - where we can meet (or talk on the phone/Zoom) and you can get a sense of how I work.. and we can explore the possibility of working together.

I offer both short-term and open-ended longer-term therapy for individuals in central Winchester. I also offer online therapy sessions.

My professional, post graduate training was completed at Roehampton University and is integrative - a progressive form of psychotherapy that combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit the unique needs of the individual client. "Integrative counselling aims to promote healing and facilitate wholeness - ensuring that all levels of a person's being and functioning (mental, physical and emotional health) are maximised to their full potential." - read more about integrative therapy here

I provide counselling and psychotherapy to a range of clients.

As a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice and work within the context of confidentiality and clear ethical boundaries.

I hold a clear, enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check and am fully insured. My work is regularly supervised by a fully qualified and accredited (UKCP) psychotherapist.
